TEHRAN, June 01 (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh, who is scheduled to travel to Vienna to attend the 169th ordinary meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), will talk with major oil and gas firms after the meeting.
The Iranian energy official will hold the talks after the meeting with fellow OPEC members.
Before leaving Tehran for Vienna, Zangeneh said Iran has not negatively impacted the oil market by doubling its crude oil exports.
"Iran having doubled its crude exports has not influenced the market negatively and the boost has been well absorbed by the market," the top Iranian energy official said.
The OPEC meeting will be held on June 02.
